sdfsdf: These were (still are) the oldest operating gas pumps in the US. Circa ~ 1928. The pumps were almost as grumpy as the gas attendant (you had to let him pump - which made me a little nervous - not many people are familiar with pumping gas into a bike). It was cool - you could see how much gas you bought by looking at the glass container on top. There were numbers inside and the gas drained out by gravity.    (2004.07.19 09:09)
